Director Kaneda Satoshi who takes on everything from general commercial films to X-rated films, has turned Hinotsume Akane's novel based on her own real life experiences as a social recluse into a film. The highly appraised diva of the world of Japanese musicals, Niizuma Seiko, makes her first appearance on the silver screen. Chika (Niizuma) has withdrawn from society as the result of social anxiety. She is dying to break free of her predicament when she meets Shimpei (Kakei Toshio) who runs a farm, and ends up working on the farm for a while. Through her daily life on the farm, she gradually rediscovers her true self.
