Based on the autobiographical comic series by Oguri Saori portraying her marriage with an American. The film is a light-hearted romantic comedy sketching the joys and tribulations of cross-cultural relationships. Commercial director Ue Kazuaki makes his feature debut. Manga artist Saori (Inoue Mao) starts dating Tony (Jonathan Sherr), a language and 'kanji' enthusiast who has come to Japan. Overcoming their cultural differences, they start living together, but one more task looms before them. Meeting her parents.
