A family drama that weaves the complex and delicate feelings between a mother and daughter. Directed by Sugita Masakazu, whose previous film Joy of Man's Desiring received a Special Mention in the Generation Kplus section of the Berlin International Film Festival.
Yuko (Inoue Mao), is the eldest of three sisters, quietly living with her husband, but she has to temporarily move in with her mother Hiroko (Ishida Eri), due to unforeseen circumstances. Yuko, who has always found her cheerful and sociable mother difficult to live with, starts living with her with a sense of uneasiness. One day, something happens that shakes their relationship...
