[ Story ]
Chiba Shigeki was the first Japanese director permitted to document Mother Teresa. He made the documentary Mother Teresa and Her World (Mother Teresa to Sono Sekai), which earned eight domestic and international awards. This time, he documents those who follow in her footsteps. Featuring Japanese medical school students who volunteer at the "Home for the Dying" opened by Mother Teresa in Calcutta, and volunteers working at "Hope House," a hospice in Tokyo, the film also shows rare footage of The Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity shot with special permission from Mother Teresa's successor, Sister Mary Nirmala Joshi.
