[ Story ]
An emotional drama depicting the bond between orphan siblings, based on a children's story written and recited by the singer Fuse Akira at a concert, which brought tears to the audience. This is the first work to be directed by the veteran cinematographer Kato Yudai, who has worked for film directors Okamoto Kihachi, Obayashi Nobuhiko, and Makino Masahiko. Recommended by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Kenichi (Kawai Ryunosuke) and Ryuji (Asari Yosuke) are brought up in a foster care facility while they wait for their father, who has gone off to make a living but has not returned. After a while it is decided that Ryuji, the younger of the two, is to be adopted, and the young brothers must grow up apart from each other.
