[ Story ]
Director Tsuji Jinsei, who is also an Akutagawa Prize-winning author and a musician, filmed this human drama in his hometown of Hakodate. The lead actor is Antonio Inoki, Japan's most famous wrestler, who is still blessed with unflagging popularity even after his retirement. The film's world premiere was in the Competition Section of the 22nd Tokyo International Film Festival. One day, a former pro-wrestler (Inoki) called "Daimajin" by those around him meets a lonely boy named Takuro (Hayashi Ryoga). Several days later, the boy is abandoned by his mother, and Daimajin begins to care for him.
