A black-and-white road movie following a young man tracing the remnants of war in Nagasaki and Okinawa, guided by the work of Tomatsu Shomei, one of Japan's leading post-war photographers. Directed, scripted, and featuring the original story and music by Hanno Yoshihiro of the Taiwan-Japan co-production Paradise Next.
Hikari (Maeda Gordon), a 20-year-old, regains his eyesight through surgery but remains colorblind. Drawn to Tomatsu Shomei's photographs, he visits Nagasaki, where he encounters Tomobe (Ikeuchi Hiroyuki), a self-proclaimed revolutionary, who invites him to create a documentary film.
