[ Story ]
Adaptation of Miura Shion's novel, which won the Naoki Prize and has sold over 500,000 copies, with iconoclastic cast members including Matsuda Ryuhei and Eita in the lead. Director Omori Tatsushi earned international acclaim for his avant-garde directorial touch in his debut film, The Whispering of the Gods . The eccentric Gyoten (Matsuda) shows up at the doorstep of his former classmate Tada (Eita), who works as a handyman in a desolate town. Gyoten's self-indulgence grates on Tada, but just as Tada starts to have a change of heart, the two get tangled up in drug trafficking.
