A film adaptation of Yazawa Ai's coming-of-age manga, which has also inspired an animated television series. The dedication of young people who dream of succeeding in the fashion world is stylishly evoked with the cooperation of popular brands such as L'est Rose. Yukari (Kitagawa Keiko), a student at one of Tokyo's top preparatory schools, spends every day absorbed in her studies as she prepares for her university exams. However, when she is invited by budding designer George (Mukai Osamu) to be a model in a fashion show at his design school's festival, she is amazed at the energy which which he and his friends put into pursuing their dreams.
