A moving drama about a loving couple who support each other in the midst of a dire situation. Its story is based on the diary of Shimizu Hisanori, who spent nine months driving around Japan with his terminally-ill wife before burying her, and was arrested for negligence as a guardian resulting in death. Hisanori (Miura Tomokazu) is saddled with massive debts. He leaves his wife Hitomi (Ishida Yuriko), who has just undergone an operation for colon cancer, in the care of their daughter and son-in-law, and desperately tries to raise money. However, despite three months of trying, he ends up with nothing to show for it. Accepting his wife's request that they never spend another second apart, he sets off on a journey with her, carrying 500,000 yen.
