[ Story ]

Drama helmed by playwright Akahori Masaaki, who adapted his own stage play as a live-action film. Based on a killing spree that actually took place, dissolution of the family of the murderer is graphically depicted. New elements from the incident are added to the stage version, which result in a multi-layered tragedy.
Katsuragi Kiyoshi (Miura Tomokazu) raised Tamotsu (Arai Hirofumi) and Minoru (Wakaba Ryuya) with his wife Nobuko (Minami Kaho) while running the hardware shop he took over from his parents. Kiyoshi rules over the household with an iron fist, and gradually the family falls apart. Minoru, who suffers from depression, goes on a killing spree, murdering eight people.
