Japanese contemporary artist Pyuupiru has captured the attention of Italian Vogue and other media for his exciting performances clad in his fantastic self-made costumes. Spanning an eight-year period beginning in 2001, this intimate documentary follows him and his struggle with Gender Identity Disorder, which makes him feel uncomfortable as a male. Before the camera of his friend Matsunaga Daishi, who has directed making-of documentaries for films such as Snakes and Earrings, the troubled Pyuupiru talks candidly about his views on art and love.
