Film adaptation of the same-titled bestseller authored by Kaido Takeru, whose has seen many of his medical mysteries, including Team Batista no Eiko, turned into films. Directed by Otani Kentaro, who also directed . Kanno Miho, who appeared in Permanent Nobara, gives a powerful performance of an enigmatic but brilliant woman doctor. Sonezaki Rie (Kanno) fills in as the head of the OB-GYN Maria Clinic, and while she is a brilliantly skilled doctor she is censured for her caustic behavior. And, a rumor spreads that she is performing illegal medical "treatments."
