Comedy depicting the challenges facing the elderly generation in new towns, once enviable neighborhoods that are now ridiculed as Senior Citizen Towns. Director Ijima Toshihiro is a veteran TV director behind numerous dramas that have garnered high ratings. Tokita Kazuaki (Takada Junji) is a sixty-one-year-old man who recently reached mandatory retirement age. He wants to find something new to throw himself into, and thinks up a plan for a festival to liven up his new town community upon learning that it is turning into a senior citizen town with an average age of sixty-eight.
