The first of a two CG animation feature film series re-telling the popular graphic novel by Shirow Masamune. Inspired by Greek mythology, it depicts an epic struggle between humans and genetically engineered humanoids known as bioroids, both seeking 'eden' in a devastated world in the aftermath of World War V. Former Los Angeles SWAT team member Deunan (voice: Sakamoto Maaya) and her cyborg partner Briareos (voice: Yamadera Koichi) keep the peace in the utopian city of Olympus. One day, a charismatic terrorist who was thought to have died 20 years ago re-emerges.
