An offbeat drama set in a shared prison cell, adapted from Tsuchiyama Shigeru's eponymous gourmet manga that enjoys a dedicated following. One day towards the end of the year in a cell in an unnamed prison, five inmates begin to play a previously arranged game. It is what they have looked forward to most all year: a gourmet talk battle, with traditional New Year's cuisine as the prize. The winner is the one who makes his fellow competitors grunt in agreement the most. Vying for victory, each cellmate recounts the tale of the most delicious food they've ever eaten in their entire lives.
