Adaptation of Hamanaka Aki's mystery novel that sharply confronts the problems of elderly care. Director Maeda Tetsu captures the harsh reality surrounding a caregiver who murdered forty-two people.
The dead bodies of an old man and the head of a home-visit elderly care center are found in a house. Public prosecutor Otomo Hidemi (Nagasawa Masami) interrogates self-sacrificing caseworker Shiba Munenori (Matsuyama Kenichi) when he comes up as a suspect. She is shaken when Shiba begins insisting that he was "saving" people and not "murdering" them.
