A suspense film set in the near future about a battle between young men and women taking part in a secret experiment, and their warder. Based on the light novel of the same title by author Yamada Yusuke, whose works are particularly popular with young people, it has already been adapted for the stage and television. In the year 20XX, the government initiates a youth suicide control project. Teenage boys and girls selected randomly from around the country are detained and made to take part in a clandestine experiment to observe their psychological state up until they commit suicide. The children chosen for the experiment match wits with their warder Minami Yohei (Koide Keisuke), who possesses a formidable intellect.
