[ Story ]

A remake of the 1968 classic, directed by MiiKE Takashi (One Missed Call). Over 3000 extras appeared and more than 900 Computer Graphics were used throughout the movie.
10-year-old Tadashi (Kamiki Ryunosuke) lives with his single mother and his grandfather after his parents divorce. Meanwhile, there is a spate of unsolved cases of children vanishing all over the country. On the other side of the world, in the Realm of Monsters, somebody or something is attacking and killing the monsters. The evil genius behind both these phenomena is the demon, Kato Yasunori (Toyokawa Etsushi), who was conjured up by the vengeful spirits of Japanese aborigines who desire to wipe human beings from the face of the earth. Tadashi is gifted with an ability to see monsters and they recognize him as the legendary Savior who will bring peace to the Realm of Monsters. Monsters from all over Japan and Tadashi himself prepare to fight back against Kato. 1,200,000 different Japanese monsters are ranged against Kato's diabolic army of ghosts. The battle with the demons seems bloody and endless, but Tadashi finally beats Kato and once again brings peace into the world.
