[ Story ]
Thirty-something sensation Yoshida Koki depicts the life of a man looking after his demented and schizophrenic mother at home. Honors include the Special Jury Prize at Pia Film Festival, the independent film festival where young film directors launch their careers, and official invitation to the Locarno International Film Festival. Thirty-six-year-old Arishima Kenichi (Sakamoto Masari) lives with his seventy-year-old mother Toshie (Miyashige Kiyoko), who is afflicted with schizophrenia and dementia. He silently carries on with his daily life, tinged with sadness as he works and takes care of his mother.
