An animated feature film based on a television series following the adventures of young women with magic powers who fight a bizarre enemy. Since ancient times, the human race has been locked in battle with a monstrous entity. Earth's defense has constantly been spearheaded by "witches," teenage girls with magical abilities. To protect their homelands and humanity from invasion by grotesque beings, the witches equip themselves with brooms called "striker units" that enhance their magical powers and enable them to fly, and engage them in combat.
