[ Story ]
A coming-of-age drama made to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of ramen chain Tenka Ippin. An unsuccessful actor enlists the help of his old friends, and ends up posing as the operator of a famous ramen restaurant. On the eve of his thirtieth birthday, theater troupe member Hongo (Aoyagi Sho) decides to give up on his acting dream and marry his girlfriend Miyo (Akina). So that her ill mother will not worry about them, Miyo falsely informs her that Hongo's ramen restaurant is so popular that a television crew will come to report on it. When Miyo's parents declare that they want to observe the TV shoot at the restaurant, she and Hongo attempt to act their way out of their dilemma.
