[ Story ]

A documentary that captures the daily lives of an elderly couple who have been married for 50 years, and their relatives. The film is compiled by prolific short film director Yokoyama Zenta from footage taken by the couple's granddaughter, Takei Ayano. The Maruyamas, Chugo and his wife Sachiko, led a peaceful life together until Sachiko was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, and Chugo was found to have cancer. As Takei films them with her camera, she observes the realities of aging, caring, and parting.
