Feature film adaptation of the animated short films presented before movies at TOHO Cinemas throughout Japan. Set in downtown Tokyo, Ropé, a paper bunny, and upperclassman Akira, a paper squirrel, play out a slacker-style drama with relaxed conversation. Akira (voice: Uchiyama Yuji) and Ropé (Voice: Uchiyama) get extremely busy as they try to savor the final day of summer vacation. However, Akira has to deal with the problems of his yet-to-be-started summer research project and fixing his big sister's earrings. On top of all that, he gets tangled up in a robbery.
