Feature film adaptation of the TV drama featuring black cats in the lead. Sheds light on the life of the protagonist's father, who is deceased in the TV show, and gives a heartwarming depiction of the relationship between a timid fortuneteller and two black cats. Kamoshida (Tsukaji Muga) is a fortuneteller steeped in superstition, who finds himself abandoned by his wife and child and ends up living on his own. His work isn't going well, and he feels stuck. One day, a black cat wanders into Kamoshida's home, and vanishes after giving birth to two kittens.
