[ Story ]
A story of a young woman who strives to become an actress and grows as a person in the process, produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China. It was brought to the screen by Teranishi Kazuhiro, who directed his own script based on his eponymous novel, and was an official selection of the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival.
Syore (Hayashi Tantan) has a job in Shanghai, but dreams of becoming an actress. She puts her heart and soul into studying acting at a theater school, and successively passes an audition for a film co-produced between Japan and China titled "Actress". Seizing the opportunity, she leaves her familiar surroundings behind and sets off for Japan to fulfill her ambition, but a shocking realization awaits her there.
