A live-action adaptation of the popular manga of "I begin love with TSUBAKI" by Minami Kanan, a love story specialist, that has sold a total of over 9 million copies. This coming-of-age film presents a delicate depiction of a relationship between a reserved, earnest high school girl and the most popular boy in her class.
Hibino Tsubaki (Takei Emi) is a straight-arrow, old-fashioned model student. One day, she is kissed for the first time in her life by Tsubaki Kyota (Matsuzaka Tori) the most popular boy in school. Although Tsubaki is convinced that Kyota is merely toying with her emotions, his kindness awakens feelings within her.
