[ Story ]
An adaptation of a martial arts comic about a fictional sport in which hand-holding male-female duos face off in the ring. Director Furusawa Takeshi studied under Zeze Takahisa and Kurosawa Kiyoshi, and has also written screenplays for films including Kurosawa's DOPPELGANGER. High school delinquents Isaki (Makita Tetsuya) and Hiramasa (Suzunosuke) lash out at a passing couple, but meet with an unexpected counterattack. When they learn that the couple are actually champions of a combat sport called "Avec" fought by male-female pairs, they decide to join an Avec gym.
