[ Story ]

A film adaptation of the novel of the same name by 8th Konomys Award winner Shichiri Nakayama.
Sixteen-year-old Haruka (Hashimoto Ai) lives happily with her parents, grandfather and cousin. One day, a fire breaks out in the annex of their house. Her grandfather and cousin die, and Haruka sustains serious burns. Nonetheless, Haruka pursues her dream of becoming a pianist, undergoing surgery and rehabilitation. She begins practicing again under the tutelage of virtuoso pianist Misaki (Kiyozuka Shinya), but inexplicable events keep happening to Haruka as she aspires to play piano again.
