[ Story ]
Set in an Ishikawa Prefecture fishing village, this music drama portrays the struggles of a high school girl who finds herself leading an amateur music group after being mistaken for a genius conductor. Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance" march warmly envelopes the wide variety of life paths.
Ishikawa Prefecture's Fukuura Harbor faces the Japan Sea, and struggles with depopulation and aging. The same holds true for amateur music group "Fukuura Harbor Fisheries on Fire Orchestra," which faces the specter of dismantling when its conductor suddenly dies. The panicked members call in Misaki (Arimura Kasumi), the deceased's granddaughter who is said to be a talented conductor.
