[ Story ]
Included in the 5th screening lineup themed on "tears," from the Momo Matsuri collective that produces and screens films by female directors. Director Nukatsuka Mariya, who hails from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and New Media, delivers a challenging film in response to the death of her own grandparents.
Hatsumi (Marui Mitoko) returns to her hometown for her grandfather's death. Feeling famished instead of grief-stricken, she searches for food, but is thwarted by her cousin Mirai (Asakura Fuyuna). Still hungry, Hatsumi heads for the coffin where her grandfather lies to change the incense.
