Second documentary showing the current reality of animals in Japan. Captures the harsh realities besetting disaster victims and animals after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, including a couple who lose their beloved dog to the tsunami, a man who starts living with a cat he reunites with after the disaster, and a breeder who is anguished over the handling of radiated livestock.
The previous film's director, Iida Motoharu, serves as producer, and director/cinematographer Shishido Daisuke hails from Miyagi Prefecture, which was devastated by the tsunami. Depicts the complex feelings of animal owners and volunteers.
