[ Story ]

The debut feature film from director Sakoda Kousuke, who won acclaim at film festivals in Japan and abroad for his works including short film Kono Mado, Mukogawa. It marks his return to directing after three years spent dealing with depression. It paints a delicate picture of conflict and reconciliation between the protagonist who is troubled by her discordant parents, her mother, and her father's mistress.
Sachiko (Kono Tomomi) is visited by Atsumi (Asaoka Megumi), the mistress of her ill father, who wants to know where he is receiving treatment. Rebelling against her mother (Izumi Miwako) who refuses to disclose his whereabouts, she follows Atsumi and unloads the pain that she and her mother bear upon her.
