Known for penning screenplays for the "Ring" series and Don't Look Up, Takahashi Hiroshi helms his first film since the release of Occult Bolshevism four years ago.
Actress-cum-playwright Naomi (Nakahara Showko) rents a mountain villa for the summer to write a play about the case of a mother who went missing. She invites Mizuki (Kono Tomomi), an actress who previously stole her husband, and they begin rehearsing the play. Mizuki plays a daughter who killed her mother, and she begins to wonder if the missing persons incident happened in this very villa.
