[ Story ]

A feature film adaptation of a history-themed educational television series with a mockumentary touch in which a journalist from the future travels through time. Its director is Nakao Hiroyuki, who also helmed episodes of the TV version.
The Time Scoop company sends its reporters back through time to every period imaginable, where they document people's lives on video for future storage and collection. Time and space-defying journalist Sawajima Yuichi (Kaname Jun) is ordered to travel to Kyoto during the Warring States period. There he delves into the mystery of the burning of Azuchi Castle, once the residence of warlord Oda Nobunaga.
