A dark fantasy from director Yamaguchi Hiroki, whose first theatrically-released film Hellevator: The Bottled Fools was selected by numerous film festivals overseas. Inspired by Takadono Madoka's popular novel, it depicts the growth of a group of young spy cadets in the near future who have been trained in information warfare.
In the near future, fierce battles over information are waged between nations. To counter spies from enemy countries, Japan's National Police Agency has developed a special public security and foreign affairs division called "Sakura." These spies, who are not afraid to die to accomplish their objectives, are given a new mission.
