TOLLYWOOD STUDIO PROJECT

[ Story ]

The eighth film from the Tollywood Studio Project, founded on the concept of commercial film production by students. With a fresh touch, it depicts the journey to independence of a young woman who hides her emotions. Director Iwashita Chikako, who was nineteen years old at the time the film was made, invests her work with a sense of personal realism.
A misunderstanding causes Chihiro (Matsunaga Nagisa), a high school student in Osaka, to feel uncomfortable around Shun (Uda Takaki), the new husband of her mother Haruno (Ohkouchi Nanako). Unable to bear living at home with them any longer, she moves to Tokyo and gradually grows closer to would-be comedian Yayoi (Kasahara Chihiro).
