[ Story ]
A fantastical drama revolving around a closed school. Memories of a mountain village in Fukushima with a dwindling population are revealed together with beautiful autumn scenery. Its writer and director is Tsubokawa Takushi, whose Utsukushiki Tennen became the first film to win both the grand prix and audience award at the Torino Film Festival in 2005.
In the present, museum worker Noda (Nishijima Hidetoshi) visits his old elementary school in the Oku-Aizu region of Fukushima to conduct a survey for artifacts before it is torn down. He wants to unearth a time capsule that he buried on the day of the school's closure ceremony, but has forgotten the exact spot.
