The 91st film directed by master director Yamada Yoji. A human drama celebrating life's joys, based on the French film Paris Taxi.
One day, taxi driver Usami (Kimura Takuya) is tasked with driving 85-year-old Sumire (Baisho Chieko) from Shibamata in Tokyo to a care home for the elderly in Hayama, Kanagawa. As she revisits places that hold special memories for her on her final look at Tokyo, Sumire's tragic past comes to light. The one day would eventually set in motion a profound change in both their lives.
