Feature film adaptation of a non-fiction crime book that led to the capture of the real culprit. Depicts a magazine journalist exposing unsolved murders, based on accusations from an inmate on death row. The cast's impassioned performance gave the film a strong buzz, and box office receipts topped 100 million yen in eleven days at seventy-nine theaters nationwide.
Magazine journalist Fujii (Yamada Takayuki) meets Sudo (Pierre Taki), a yakuza on death row. Fujii pursues the truth after Sudo confesses to three other murders, but says that that the main culprit is someone he calls his "teacher" (Lily Franky).
