[ Story ]
Real-life drama that unflinchingly looks at how a single mother ends up neglecting her children, based on an actual incident in Osaka, where two children died from neglect in 2010. Third film by cutting-edge director Ogata Takaomi, whose Body Temperature was screened at festivals in Japan and abroad.
Yukiko (Izawa Emiko) gets divorced after her husband has an affair. She raises her young daughter and son on her own, and spends her days overwhelmed by long work hours and house chores. Lacking education and vocational skills, Yukiko falls into economic hardship, and gradually finds herself ostracized from those around her.
