The propagation of fake news and the fiendish appetite of those who consume such information are revealed in this drama by Sunk in to the Womb director, Ogata Takaomi.
One morning, Hitomi's (Matubayashi Urara) homeroom teacher is taken away by police on charges of violating child pornography laws. The teacher's sexual videos become public and a false rumor begins to spread the teacher's partner in the video is Hitomi. As the rumor propagates as if it were truth, a hounded Hitomi ultimately commits suicide. The two had become easy prey for the mass media and a "fictional" Hitomi was steadily created through overblown news.
