Tenth installation in the animal drama series known for Neko-Taxi and Mameshiba. Humorous depiction of a masterless samurai at the end of the Edo Period whose heart is melted by an adorable white cat. The TV drama version was broadcast first in 2013, and the film keeps director Yamaguchi Yoshitaka and lead actor Kitamura Kazuki from the TV production.
Expert swordsman Madarame Kyutaro (Kitamura) was once a feared killer, but now lives in poverty. One day, he receives his first assassination request in quite a while. However, the target for the assassination turns out to be a cat said to have turned its master into a spineless jellyfish…
