The eighteenth installment in a film series based on the popular animated television series "Detective Conan", created by Aoyama Gosho. It was made to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the source manga's serialization. Shizuno Kobun returns as director, having helmed every film in the series since the fifteenth.
Edogawa Conan (voice: Takayama Minami) and the Detective Boys attend the opening ceremony for the 635-meter tall Bell Tree Tower. As they are enjoying its stunning views, a man is shot and killed. Conan embarks on an investigation with Sera Masumi (voice: Hidaka Noriko), a female high school student and detective.
