Eleven university students involved in the Tsukuba University Creative Reconstruction Project document Iwaki City in Fukushima Prefecture. Driven to share voices from Fukushima with the world, they capture the stories of various people suffering from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
Late summer, 2013. The Future Meeting in Iwaki was held on a regular basis in Iwaki City, which took in over 20,000 refugees, and served as a forum where people could discuss their experiences and feelings about the disaster. The camera depicts the everyday lives of participants of diverse ages and occupations based on the conversations that happened at the meetings.
