[ Story ]

Invited film to the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival. Documentary by freelance journalist Tachikawa Kazuya that captures everyday scenes in a rural foster home over an eightyear period.
Children of Light is a foster home with the slogan of "living together with children". Children who for various reasons cannot live with their parents share a communal life. Caretaker Mariko is in charge of Mutsumi and Marina. One day, Mutsumi's mother visits the foster home with the wish to live with her child again.
