[ Story ]

Born in 1984, director Ono Sayaka has created this autobiographical documentary as her graduation project at the Japan Academy of Moving Images. Ono was sent away for a year when she was young to the Kofukukai Yamagishikai (Yamagishi Association), a commune aimed at creating an ideal community. Traumatized by the experience, and in fear of being sent away again, she has been playing the "good girl" ever since. Ono confronts her family and searches for the root of her suffering. Documenting herself, she has no hesitation in bearing her body and her soul. We are seeing the birth of a new-generation documentarian.
