[ Story ]
A documentary that follows three years in the life of Ishikawa Kazuo and his wife Sachiko. For fifty-one years, Kazuo has protested his innocence in the Sayama Incident, a famous case of injustice. Its director is Kim Sung Woong, who depicted the daily lives of Japan-born Koreans in HANA-HANME.
The Sayama Incident involved the abduction and murder of a female high school student in Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture in 1963. Ishikawa Kazuo was judged to be guilty due to falsified evidence and other factors, and spent thirty-two years in prison. Now out on parole, he stays close to his wife Sachiko, and continues to campaign to clear his name.
