[ Story ]
Documentary about avant-garde floral artist Nakagawa Yukio, known for his unorthodox style using bunches of rotting tulips and entire heads of napa cabbage. Illuminates the secrets to his creativity through his own words and the notebooks he's kept over the years.
Nakagawa began studying flower arrangement with his aunt from the age of 20, and pursued a solitary path of poverty disavowing schools and not taking on any students. His mind-blowing style is underpinned by his glorification of life through flowers, which are "beautiful even in death."
