[ Story ]

The lyrics of the hit single, 'Nada Sou Sou - Tears for You', written by singer Moriyama Ryoko, expresses feelings for a dead brother. Director Doi Nobuhiro of Be with You (Ima Aini Yukimasu) adopted its view of the world as a motif, portraying the warm love between an elder brother and a younger sister who are not blood related. "Nada Sou Sou" means "tears flowing incessantly" in the Okinawan dialect from the southern-most region of Japan.
The elder brother, Yotaro (Tsumabuki Satoshi), and the younger sister, Kaoru (Nagasawa Masami), lived apart until Kaoru entered high school when they started to live together. One day, Yotaro is tricked into a fraud and falls in debt. Nevertheless, Yotaro works feverishly in order to send Kaoru to college; Kaoru begins to love her brother who pushes himself so hard for her. Only a few years later, Yotaro falls ill as his hard work has taken its toll on him, and dies. After the funeral, a gift arrives for Kaoru - it is from Yotaro. Kaoru sees it and bursts into tears.
